On Monday, a great win over New Milton by two shots places Ringwood's men in the Area Final of the County Club Championship. The Area Final will be played on Wednesday 17th July at Bournemouth Bowling Club against Boscombe Cliff.
On Tuesday, Helena Webber sadly lost her National Champion of Champions match against Kathleen Priestley of Swanmore. It was very close, 20-21.

On Friday, Pete Ward and Sharon Varndell won their National Mixed Pairs match against Janet Williamson at Hyde Abbey, 20-16.
The Lester Brunt Mixed Triples Competition was a great success and was enjoyed by all those who took part. The Lester Brunt representatives Ryan O'Connell, Chris Knight and his wife Tracy, who were overseeing the event, gave a presentation and supplied a superb buffet lunch. At the end of the Competition, Chris presented Trophies and cash prizes to the winners, Mel Barrett, Allan Mason and Sharon Varndell and also to the Runners Up, Margery Gardner, Ian Stewart and Michael Whelan. A big thank you to Doug Jones for organising and running the event on the day. It went like clockwork. Also, many thanks also to all those who helped carry out the various support tasks that this type of event warrants. Pictures to follow later.
Overall last week, of the 9 League matches played, Ringwood won 5 and lost 4.
