Dear Secretaries,
> Missing Bag
A member of Fordingbridge BC has lost a bag containing measuring equipment and a few keepsakes. It is the size of a large make-up bag, has a large "S" on it and has a large "S" key ring attached. A reward awaits the finder, so if anyone has seen it, please reach out to John Bundy This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Thanks.

I shall be standing down at the AGM as Match Secretary of NFBA; purely for personal reasons.
The Association will therefore be looking for someone to take over from me at the AGM. I’d be grateful if you could put the word out in you clubs and if anyone is interested, to kindly contact me.
The role of the Match Secretary is to arrange the friendlies of the Association and to maintain a record of everyone who has played for the Association. It’s obviously essential that they are therefore familiar with email, and Microsoft’s Word and Excel. All of next year’s fixtures have or will be arranged by the time of the AGM and I will be around as Immediate Past President to help the new incumbent, so they therefore won’t be left to do things on their own.
Yours,
Andy

Saturday 6th September. B&DBA Morning Mixed B Team at Home versus Pelhams Sea Hawks. A big bounce back by the B Team, after last weeks disappointment, solidified 6th place in the final league match of the season. Rinks 1½ - ½. Shots 40 - 24. Points 5 - 1.
Saturday 6th September. B&DBA Mixed 1st Team Away versus Boscombe Cliff. After 30-odd years of B&DBA 1st Division bowling this disappointing result, from the last game of the season, means relegation to the Premier Section 2. Although finishing on equal with points with Highcliffe, the 1st team's shots difference of -106, sealed their fate. Rinks 3 - 0. Shots 60 - 31. Points 10 - 0.
Saturday 6th September. B&DBA Mixed A Team at Home versus Poole Park B. Like the B Team, the A Team finish the season with a fine win, finishing in 6th place. Rinks 2 - 1. Shots 49 - 37. Points 8 - 2.
