You may have noticed that Jim Sillitoe has not been seen at the club for some time.
Doug Dalrymple has spoken with Jim's Wife and she informed him that Jim has been in hospital undergoing some tests.
He is currently at home but has to go back in for more tests.
We all wish Jim well and hopefully, we will se him back at the club very soon.

 Carol Broomfield, Helen Blackiston and Sharon Varndell took part in the Bowls Hampshire Trials on Sunday 11th May at Banister Park.
Unfortunately, Helen was not selected, whilst Carol was selected as travelling reserve for the John's Trophy team.
The Gold Star goes to Sharon who was picked for the John's Trophy team and also selected as a travelling reserve for the Walker Cup team.
Sharon and Carol are off to Sutton this coming weekend for the Walker Cup competition, being played for the first time in a new format.

Congratulations to all 3 for putting Ringwood Bowls Club firmly on the County map. We wish them the best of luck in whatever matches they are playing in.

Tuesday 6th May  NFWBA Ladies Team Away versus Milford Magic. The ladies started the season with a tricky away match on the coast, losing by 8 shots.Rinks 1 - 1. Shots 37 - 29. Points 4 - 2.

Tuesday 6th May  NFBA Men's 1st Team Away versus Braeside. Rinks were halved but this much needed win, for the 1st team, gets them away from the bottom part of the table. Rinks 2 - 2. Shots 65 - 75. Points 2 - 6.

Thursday 8th May. B&DWBA Ladies Team Away versus Fordingbridge. Another tough away match for the Ladies, in the first week of the season, resulting in another loss. Rinks 1 - 1. Shots 32 - 21. Points 4 - 2.

Thursday 8th May. NFBA Men's A Team Away versus Milford on Sea B. Following last weeks win, the A Team couldn't quite close this match out, losing by just 2 shots. Rinks 2½ - 1½. Shots 63 - 61. Points 6.5 - 1.5.

Saturday 10th May. B&DBA Morning Mixed B Team at Home versus Knyveton Kestrels. This great performance and win for the B Team lifts them up to mid table. Rinks 1 - 1. Shots 32 - 21. Points 4 - 2.

Saturday 10th May. B&DBA Mixed 1st Team Away versus Moordown. The 1st Team climb up to 3rd place after a good win at Moordown. Rinks 1 - 2. Shots 44 - 60. Points 2 - 8.

Saturday 10th May. B&DBA Mixed A Team at Home versus Argyll B. The B Team also reside in 3rd place after another great win. Rinks 2 - 1. Shots 56 - 44. Points 8 - 2.
