Following the Fun Day with Town Councillors and Rugby Club Members, three weeks ago, we have received two wonderful Thank You cards from the Town Mayor and Ringwood Town Council. They are pinned to the club noticeboard and read as follows.

Thank you so much for hosting Sunday. We all had a fun filled afternoon and enjoyed the opportunity to chat over the delightful buffet. The event highlighted the joy of community engagement and I look forward to the re-match at Ellingham and Ringwood Rugby Club.
Please pass on my thanks to the members who put in so much effort to make the afternoon happen. It really is appreciated.

Sharon Varndell who won her Quarter Final match in the Bowls Hampshire West Area Ladies 2 Wood Singles at Banister Park on Monday. Unfortunately, she lost the Semi Final, played on the same day, by 1 shot, 14 - 13.
Sadly, on the same day, Lee Croad lost his Quarter Final match in the Bowls Hampshire West Area Men's 2 Wood Singles.
The two Ringwood Pairs of Jake Palmer/Tony Nixon and Peter Ward/Dan Cookman won their respective Bowls Hampshire West Area Men's Pairs Semi Finals at New Milton on Wednesday. They progress to play in the Last Eights Quarter & Semi Finals at Banister Park on Saturday 27th July.
Peter Ward who has won through to play Alan Forrest (Fleming Park) in the Bowls England Men's Champion of Champions - Hampshire (Mid/West) Area Final, being played on 15 July.
Derrick Fulker and Derick Faulkner who have won through to play in the Bowls Hampshire West Area Men's Golden Pairs Final, to be played at at Banister Park on Tuesday 6th August, against Keith Allen and Ian Chapman (Highcliffe).
Mark Brocklebank, Steve Hill, John Sanderson and Lee Croad who won their Bowls Hampshire Fours Quarter Final yesterday at Banister Park. In the Semi Final, they came up against a strong Fleming Park side but sadly lost 18 - 7.
Sharon Varndell, Helen Blackiston and Carol Broomfield won their Quarter Final and Semi Final Triples matches today and go through to the Bowls Hampshire Women's Triples Final against New Milton at Banister Park on either the 3rd or 4th August.

Tuesday 9th July. NFBA Men's 1st Team at Home versus New Milton B. The gap widens at the top but the 1st Team stay second following a close game but disappointing result against the bottom club. Rinks 2 - 2. Shots 63 - 69. Points 2 - 6.
Thursday 11th July. B&DWBA Ladies Team No Match, Reserve Week.
Thursday 11th July. NFBA Men's A Team Away versus New Milton A. The A Team stay bottom after another disappointing result but come back home with a point.Rinks 3 - 1. Shots 76 - 50. Points 7 - 1.
Thursday 11th July. NFBA Men's B Team at Home versus Fordingbridge C. A great maximum points win for the B Team closes the gap betwen these two teams to half a point.Rinks 2 - 0. Shots 49 - 27. Points 4 - 0.
Saturday 13th July. B&DBA Mixed B Team at Home versus Poole Park Mallards. A close tussle in this bottom of the table clash but the B Team stay just above the relegation zone. Rinks 1 - 1. Shots 30 - 36. Points 2 - 4.
Saturday 13th July. B&DBA Mixed 1st Team at Home versus Bournemouth. The 1st Team close the gap on 3rd place Bournemouth after this much needed win. Rinks 1 - 2. Shots 57 - 44. Points 8 - 2.
Saturday 13th July. B&DBA Mixed A Team Away versus Moordown A. The A Team drop down another place after returning from Moordown with no points. Rinks 3 - 0. Shots 59 - 30. Points 10 - 0.
