Congratulations to Peter Ward who sadly lost his Bowls Hampshire 2 Wood Singles Final against Alan Geary (Boscombe Cliff), 15-10,
Also to Lee Croad who, on Sunday, sadly lost his NFBA Champion of Champions Final match, 21-20, against Jamie Hughes (Waterside).
Tuesday 29th August. NFWBA Ladies Team Away versus Milford on Sea 1. Despite a great win in this match, the Ladies drop down to 6th, due other results. Rinks 1 - 1. Shots 22 - 42. Points 2 - 4.
Thursday 30th August. B&DWBA Ladies Team at Home versus Boscombe Cliff. Another match with no points for the Ladies but they still reside in 4th place. This match was played over 12 ends, agreed before play. Rinks 0 - 2. Shots 13 - 33. Points 0 - 6.
Saturday 3rd September. B&DBA Morning Mixed B Team at Home versus Milford on Sea C. The B Team finish the season with another loss with the sad result of relegation to Division 4, next season. Rinks 0 - 2. Shots 29 - 49. Points 0 - 6.
Saturday 3rd September. B&DBA Mixed 1st Team at Home versus Poole Park. The 1st Team finish their season in 5th place following this very close, exciting, match. Rinks 1.5 - 1.5. Shots 63 - 64. Points 3 - 7.
Saturday 3rd September. B&DBA Mixed A Team Away versus Bournemouth A. Sadly, this whitewash in the last game of the season cements the A Team's relegation into Division 5, next season. Rinks 3 - 0. Shots 78 - 34. Points 10 - 0.
