Ringwood Bowling Club

The first of the Open Days gets underway today in what is going to be a Bank Holiday of glorious weather.

Today's and Tomorrow's Open Days start at 10.00am. If you have some time to spare, please go along to the club and help Debbie and the team in the sessions, in the glorious sunshine.

This is the last News Bulletin for three weeks as I will be away in Ireland. It will be back again on the 25th June.

Tuesday 23rd May. NFWBA Ladies Team Away versus Highcliffe. Another great win for the Ladies places them in mid-table. Rinks 1 - 1. Shots 27 - 32. Points 2 - 4.

Tuesday 23rd May. NFBA Men's 1st Team Away versus New Milton. A poor performance at New Milton results in the clubs swapping league positions. Rinks 3 - 1. Shots 73 - 57. Points 7 - 1.

Tuesday 23rd May. NFBA Men's B Team at Home versus Verwood A. This rearranged match, from the 9th May, ended in defeat for the B Team. Rinks 0 - 2. Shots 22 - 38. Points 0 - 4.

Thursday 25th May. B&DWBA Ladies Team Away versus New Milton. Another loss for the Ladies keeps them rooted to the bottom of the table. Rinks 2 - 0. Shots 44 - 25. Points 6 - 0.

Thursday 25th May. NFBA Men's A Team at Home versus New Milton A. This first win of the season, by 1 shot, lifts the A Team off the bottom of the table. Rinks 2.5 - 1.5. Shots 65 - 54. Points 6.5 - 1.5.

Thursday 25th May. NFBA Men's B Team Away versus Totton & Eling. A close game but the B Team are second best and drop one place in the table. Rinks 1 - 1. Shots 33 - 27. Points 3 - 1.

Saturday 27th May. B&DBA Morning Mixed B Team Away versus Branksome Park Eagles.  A nail biting, one shot, win for the B team places them in third place. Rinks 0.5 - 1.5. Shots 34 - 35. Points 1 - 5.

Saturday 27th May. B&DBA Mixed 1st Team Away versus Branksome Park. Despite winning on two rinks, this loss for Ringwood gets them off of bottom slot. Rinks 1 - 2. Shots 56 - 54. Points 6 - 4.

Saturday 27th May. B&DBA Mixed A Team Away versus Branksome Park Blades. Another nail biter but this time Ringwood lose by one shot, despite winning 2 rinks, and their position raises by one place. Rinks 1 - 2. Shots 52 - 51. Points 6 - 4.
