Congratulations to Daniel Cookman and his partner, Luke Bell (Sports Centre) who are the Bowls Hampshire Junior Pairs Champions for 2022. They won their Final match 17-16 to qualify for the National Championship final stages which take place at Royal Leamington Spa on Monday 29th August.
Congratulations also to Peter Ward who has qualified for the Bowls Hampshire Men's 2 Wood Singles County Quarter/Semi Finals which will be held at Bannister Park BC on Monday 11th July, 6pm. In the West 1 Area Final, held at New Milton on the 27th June, he defeated Lee Croad 16-15.
In yesterday's Bowls Hampshire Men's Fours matches, held at banister Park, the Ringwood team of Mark Brocklebank, Dan Cookman, Lee Croad and Pete Ward won their Quarter Final match against Southsea Waverley 17-10. Unfortunately however, in the afternoon Semi Final they lost to Fleming Park.
Also yesterday, Ringwood ladies unfortunately lost their Bowls Hampshire Thornbery Trophy match against Highcliffe.

Tuesday 28th June. NFWBA Ladies' 2nd Team Away versus Lymington. Not played. Lymington unable to field a team. The 2nd team stay in 6th place.
Tuesday 28th June . NFBA Men's 1st Team Away versus Braeside. A poor showing on the Braeside carpet results in New Milton opening the gap at the top of the League. Rinks 3 - 1. Shots 97 - 55. Points 7 - 1.
Thursday 30th June. B&DWBA Ladies Team Away versus New Milton. Another loss this week for the ladies but they hold on to third slot on equal points with New Milton. Rinks 2 - 0. Shots 38 - 27. Points 6 - 0.
Thursday 30th June. NFBA Men's A Team at Home versus Verwood. Despite losing this match, Ringwood 'A' retain 2nd spot just above Verwood. Rinks 1.5 - 2.5. Shots 65 - 75. Points 6.5 - 1.5.
Thursday 30th June. NFBA Men's B Team at Home versus West Moors B. Ringwood 'B' continue to improve with a maximum points win over the Division 5 leaders. Rinks 2 - 0. Shots 46 - 26. Points 4 - 0.
Saturday 2nd July. B&DBA Premier Men's 1st Team Away versus Boscombe Cliff. A second consecutive week without points leaves the 1st team mid table. Rinks 3 - 0. Shots 76 - 28. Points 10 - 0.
Saturday 2nd July. B&DBA Premier Men's A Team at Home versus Boscombe Cliff A. A poor showing at Home leaves the 'A' team propping up Section 4. Rinks 0 - 3. Shots 50 - 65. Points 0 - 10.
Saturday 2nd July. B&DBA Mixed Triples B Team at Home versus West Moors C. Despite a second consecutive win, by the smallest of margins, the 'B' team remain in 9th place in Section 3. Rinks 1 - 1. Shots 28 - 27. Points 4 - 2.
