Thursday 9th May. B&DWBA Ladies' Team at Home versus Swanmore. Helen Blackiston's rink won 31-12 and Debbie Senior's rink drew 19-19 but as Swanmore only turned up with 6 players they had to forfeit 25% on each rink so Ringwood took all 6 points. Anne

Thursday 9th May. NFBA Men's B Team Away versus Lyndhurst A. A difficult match at Lyndhurst as the rinks were very slow ( especially compared to our hallowed turf ) resulting in 2 games won and 2 lost but an overall win by the closest of margins to us 65 - 61. The points score therefore was 6 - 2 in our favour.

Barry Vaughan with Dave Lewis and Geoff Bell won 22 - 9 scoring a 4 on the last end.

Saturday 11th May. B&DBA Men's 1st Team Away versus Kings Park. Another 12 points to 2 victory for Ringwood first team played away on a very heavy Kings Park green. This result has propelled us to equal top place in the B & D league along with Boscombe Cliff. The top winning rink was Rob Huggett, Bryan Tanner, Derick Faulkner and Mark Brocklebank who secured a splendid 36 to 16 victory.

Derick.

Saturday 11th May. B&DBA Triples B Team Away versus Pelhams Sharks. It was heavy defeat, 6-0 with 28 shots to Ringwood and 42 to Pelhams Sharks. However, we all enjoyed the game but found the green not a patch on what we are used to at Ringwood. However we all did our best and the result doesn’t really define the game.
